There's much to see here. So, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know About the Animals. There are current videos and some from years ago that tell the story of my Animal Rescue Journey since its inception in 2002 in Rome, Italy.
Supporting the Pets' Trust comes easily to me, as I have full understanding of what the plan entails, and as I said in my one-minute speech, it is the ONLY PLAN that takes into account the massive numbers of animals we are dealing with in this forsaken Florida County.
My speech suggested offering incentives to the community. Today we have the Tip the Trapper Program at the Miami-Dade Animal Services Shelter and yet, we are still lacking a concerted effort to eradicate the intense suffering that the stray animal overpopulation in subjected to endure in Florida, especially in the most southern region.

In July 2017, I attended a hearing about a bill to ban puppy sales/stores in Miami-Dade County. We were not many unfortunately, to be able to take the time to go support the ban, but the few of us that were there, made our case and pleaded with the Commissioners to pass the bill.
It was all in vain and the bill did not pass.
Our animals continue to suffer in the hands of greedy individuals, who can only think about profit.
WE HAVE TO DO BETTER THAN THIS MIAMI!
In June 2022, Florida Gov. DeSantis vetoed SB 620 —the so-called “Local Business Protection Act”—and in doing so ensured that Florida localities can continue to protect animals and consumers from the cruel puppy-mill-to-pet-store pipeline.
In early 2015, an undercover investigation led by Tony Pipitone from NBC6 Investigates brought to light the horror stories about the illegal sale of puppies on Craigslist. They are bred by so called "backyard breeders". No license, no compassion, no care, no decency.
These unscrupulous individuals are only in it for the profit, fueled by the high demand of designer breeds,
many of whom, end up abandoned on the streets or surrendered to shelters.
It is time to institute an education campaign, not only to let "buyers" know about the details of each mixed breed and the health issues
these dogs may have, but also to let people know about the horrific conditions in which these defenseless puppies
are brought to life and how cruel the backyard breeders are to the mothers - treated only as dollar signs.
This video was created for an event organized by Human Resources while I worked at NBC Universal in 2021 and 2022.
Part of the 2-day event was about what we enjoyed outside of the office. The subject was "Share Your Talent".
